Fun roller-coaster of things + 8 Months!!

Monday:P-Day!! First P-day in Hyde Park!!! Alrighty today was a day for sure. We went to Walmart to get groceries and we had to get A TON of things because this was the week where we ran out of quiet literally EVERYTHING tehe. Anyways we go to checkout and its a hefty amount of money and when we went to pay Sister Thaele didn't have her card I was like uhhhhhhhhhh not really knowing what to do, I ended up buying all the things and then when we got home she was like oops I had the card the whole time💀🪦. That kinda didn't make me happy but oh well we moved along. The rest of p-day we went and hung out with the district and played card games🃏! It was super fun, we played nertz and I destroyed💪 but the district did catch on so it was still super fun! That was p-day, the rest of the night was calls and talking to some amazing people! Tuesday: Today was lots of driving🚗 and a lot of phone calls☎️. Update on our friend Akeyia, we lost all forms of contacting her which was really sad ngl🥲, keep her in your prayers please!. The rest of the day was a ton of stop bys and then we visited the Hill family and they are so cute at the end of the lesson we were taught how to dance and man that was not pretty ahha👯‍♀️.Today was the first day that we were told to leave Menards, they told us we weren't supposed to be contacting people. We were a little confused because this has never happened so we just left and gave Menards a break for the day🫨. We then had an interesting conversation over the phone with this man and he kept calling me baby girl and love and I was like ummmm sir let's not, Sister Thaele and I were laughing the whole time though because it was just so funny. STORY TIME📖: When we were knocking doors we came to this house and I opened the screen door and when I knocked on the door it started opening and it was super dark but it looked like there was a person right there, I did NOT knock again and we dipped because my heart dropped sooooo fast😨.

Wednesday: Super fun day! First off time goes by sooo fast! 1 year ago I went through the temple and received my endowment which is crazy that it was a year ago!! Anyways we had a District Council which was good, we were all very joyful while accounting and that's always fun😁😁. We then went and got Panda all together and man did that hit. And can I just say how fun it is to have sisters in the district like we can finally do things with other sisters, yayy! Shoutout to Sister Moon and Sister Peterson they are the best🫶! The rest of the day was quite literally back to back lessons, I love it!!! Thursday: Interviews with President + 21 lessons + WHATTTT! First off interviews with president, we had our interviews at 8:30 in the morning and I thought they were at the church building that is only 15 min away because thats what I was told but NOPE, when we were leaving Sister Thaele tells me that its at the Hyde park building thats 40 min away becasue of traffic and im like welp there goes my interview with president🤦‍♀️, When we got to the church I had another 5 minute interview which was fine but it's like why does this always happen to me. But what I don't understand is that my last few interviews were about marriage💍 and im like what the heck like its not even me bringing this up and my president just keeps bringing everything back to marriage im like thats wack ahah. The rest of the day was super busy, we had back to back lessons from quite literally the start of the day all the way until the end of the night🫨😱, it was a blast to be busy because you constantly are on a go go go. Finally we ended the night at Menards and after contacting so many amazing people a manager comes up to us and he tells us so im not kicking yall out but ill need you to bring it down to a zero and leave we were like oh ummm. He's like I love God like my name is Jesus but we can't have you be doing this here🤦‍♀️. And that was the last day in menards for us rip. Friday: Not a whole lot to talk about. We had a lot of lessons but 2 out of the 18 went through rip. Saturday: 8 MONTHS OF BEING A MISSIONARY!! + General Conference + Awesome surprise!! Okay so today we went to Krispy Kreme to get donuts🍩 for our own little watch party and when we walk in, who's there? JESSICA DANSIE IS!!!!! It was sooo good seeing her, it's been so long seeing friends from home and so it made me really happy to see her🫂. After chit chattering for a bit we all left but of course I had to take pictures with the donuts for my 8 months which is wild📸🎉! We then watched general conference in our beds and WOW is general conference AMAZING!! If you didn't watch it, GO WATCH IT! And basically that's all that happened the rest of the day was just watching General Conference! We did watch the last two sessions with the Sutariks which the whole time I was trying to figure out if they were married or Mother and son, how they talked to each other it was really confusing🫢🤔. Sunday: General Conference Pt.2! We watched the first part of conference at the church with lots of other missionaries which was super fun, i love being around other missionaries! We then had a surprise pass off lesson afterwards which was good but man did the girl have like every question you could think off, she was super cute and so we told to her to ask God for the answers to her questions because us telling her all the answers wasn't going to do anything for her so this is everyone's reminder to PRAY!! We then watched the last session at the Swensons who are super sweet, we had some good food with them and a good talk afterwards. It was fun because I had guessed 15 temples to be announced and I guessed right, lets gooo!! Anyways the rest of the day was just chaos because our sim card stopped working and was only working on one of the phones but with certain things, big rip. Sounds like tomorrow's problem. Anyways there is the week for yall, love you all so so much and hope you had an amazing week and hope you have a good rest of your week🫶💞!!
