An okay week ngl!🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Monday:P-Day!! What a day, lol. Today we did SOOO MUCH DRIVING. We drove an hour south to go get a water filter because we were sick or buying water constantly. We ended up spending a while there just chatting it up with the senior couples and so that was fun and I also got an easter package from my mom so that made me happy!! We then met up with the elders and we kept driving back and forth between places because no one could decide what to do. We ended up at the church and we played chair soccer and had banana rootbeer floats, it wasn't bad but definitely different. Once p-day ended it was just calls after calls💀. Tuesday: Super weird day and more driving and you'll never guess what we did next 🥁🥁🥁🥁CALLS, wow I know shocker. Anyways we had a call with one of my facebook friends and as we are stating our purpose he's like hold up that kinda like my purpose, im trying to convert y'all to my church. Ahha, it was really funny! We had some good lessons today and did a lesson with the resurrection eggs my ma sent me and that was fun! The rest of the day was okay. Throughout the day Sister Thaele would just keep snapping at me to get my attention, I was like absolutely not. We moved on and went on with our calls. Wednesday: District Council! I ended up getting assigned to do a training at the last minute and so I had to hurry and make something up this morning but it ended up being pretty good so Hallelujah to that! The rest of the day was called People. Thursday: Today was just like the other days, lots of calls and lessons. While we were doing calls at McDonald's there was a person getting arrested in the parking lot, we were like oop. We had a lesson with one of our friends and she kept falling asleep and she's like I'm sorry, sister robins you just have such a calming voice when you teach. I was like I DO?? Well that's a shocker, never heard that before ahha. Friday: The day that I DID NOT WANT to happen, HAPPENED, NOOOOOL!!! So this whole week we have been working out as a district and so when i went to unroll the yoga mat this morning what comes flying out, yep a CENTIPEDE!!!!! I screamed sooo loud. After that I was done, the elders were laughing at Sister Thaele and I. We ended up just covering it with a container until later in the day when we came back to our apt and we took it outside and right when we were going to let it go a big woosh of wind came in and took it away, it freaked us out so much! That was the day for you, I'll let you guess what we did the whole day. Saturday: Had lots and lots of lessons this morning that all went well but then Sister Thaele wasn't feeling well so she rested and I just went hard on phone work. The whole day was sooo nice like the weather was perfect. Fast forward to the end of the night we had a super funny lesson/talk with our friend Xavier! Before we could even get into a lesson he just started asking us soo many questions about ourselves because hes like if we are going to talk i need yall to NOT be robots lol. It was super fun! After that lesson that was pretty much the day. We were able to throw in a little of Jesus Christ Atonement so hey at least we taught something out of all of that! Sunday: Such a fun Sunday!!! Today was a fast and testimony meeting which was fun because lots of the people that got up would sing their testimonies, i was like okay ahah this is fun! After church we had some calls here and there and then we had to get dressed in African clothing because we were eating at a members house # Mama Omolara! And man that was so fun, she invited lots of the missionaries and we just talked and ate sooo much food. She then gave us all African names and mine is Oluwafumilayo… which means God give me Joy! We then sang songs and she ended up signing us all up to have a musical number on Sunday so that will be interesting ahah!
