Pretty much fast forward to the end of the the night because the whole day was lots of phone calls and some lessons here and there. Anyways though we had a part member meal with this really funny family and they live in Remington and we were planning on being there at 5:30 and technically we did get there on time but we had forgotten that we have two time zones in our area and so technically we were an hour late and so when we got there they said no worries we can just warm the food up 🤦‍♀️, we felt so bad. We had really good pork chops and some other things, it was very scrumptious. We stayed there for maybe longer than we needed to because there were like 20 conversations going on at the same time and there are only three of them and so it was really hard to find a good time to say we gotta go ahha. Now we finally were able to leave and as we were driving back to Crown Point we thought it would be fun to count how many trucks there are on the freeway. In the span of 20 min we counted 266 it was wild! Tuesday: P-Day!!! Today was something. In the morning I did laundry and as it was going we had to go to the Doctors for Sis. Surio, she is still not feeling well. Anyways I thought after the Doctors we would be able to go home and change the laundry so that no one had to touch my stuff but we ended up spending the whole day at the church with the elders. We played games for a little bit and I taught a few how to play nertz and that was something lol. After that we went to panda and that was fun/funny and then we talked to fam the rest of p-day. Once we got going on the day we had lots of our lessons fall through and so as we were doing phone work we went to Burger King because we wanted the kids toy lol, we got that and then zoomed home and when we were on a meeting call I was getting my laundry and it was GONE!! I started freaking out because it had lots of my clothes but thankfully people are really nice and they just put them back into the washer but oh my goodness im never doing that again lol. Wednesday: District Council/ Interviews with President! District Council was good, I gave a training on Faith unto Repentance and it turned out pretty good I think, we had a good discussion and Sister Chase joined us so that was AMAZING!! As a couple of us were waiting to be interviewed we were just chatting with Sis. Chase and she was telling us how President proposed and lots more things. It was good! Then it was my turn for interviews and it was kinda a let down ngl because when I got in he was like I only have 5 minutes to talk and I was like oh… and ofc my brain goes blank and so it was a meh interview but I did invite them to my homecoming and we laughed about it because I still got a year but he said we will absolutely be there, I was like letssss goooo!!! The rest of the day was just like any other day, all the lessons fell through and so we ended up doing lots of phone work. Thursday: 200 DAYS!!!!! Today we had Dairy Queen with Sis Barnes and man it was sad funny because when we first got to her house she was not happy because of some things that were going on but we were able to cheer her up and we had a good day but we all needed a nap for sure lol. We then did phone work at Starbies and we got drinks and some snacks, I got cheese and man was that good, I love cheese haha. We then had a member meal and it was something for sure. As many of you know I STRUGGLE with silence, ive gotten better but man during this meal it was very dead and I was quite literally screaming inside Haha. Friday: GAME DAY!! Today went by soo fast but it was so fun! We had service in the morning which was just us playing Farkle and Dominos with an inactive member and the Sr. Sisters, it was so fun. We played games and had lunch all together and did that from 10:30-1:30. It was fun and I won Farkle!!!! We had some member visits and lessons throughout the rest of the day until it hit about 7ish when Daniel had his baptism interview, which he passed and will be getting baptized this Sunday ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! But while Daniel was getting interviewed there was a ward game night happening and so we played with the kids and Elder Arnett was playing with one of the little boys and it was the funniest thing because they were just bullying each other but in a goofy way, just to make sure yall know that lol. And that was the end of the day, lots and lots of games today! Saturday: Doctors again. We had to get up early today because we had to drive an hourish for another doctor's appointment. Sister Surio got x-rays and while she was doing that I was watching this home renovation show and man was it good, I love watching shows like that. After the very long ride back we did some service for a member and ill let you guess what we did next 🥁🥁🥁🥁 MORE CALLS yayyyy! But during all these calls the President actively called us which scared me for a sec because I was like oop are we getting Emergency Transferred? But luckly we aren't and it was just about Daniel. Anyways we went to Grandma Bev's house and every time we go over she doesn't let anyone else help her with her technology besides me and its really funny. Finally after the day was over I decided to make banana bread which turned out AMAZING and I had bought flour earlier thinking we were almost out of flour but it was sugar we were out of and so I had to ask our neighbors for sugar but they were super nice about it so that was awesome! And the bread came out amazing, might I say lol. Sunday: Super fun/ crazy Sunday. Church was good like always, during the second hour we were running around like crazy people but it all was fine. After church we went down to Rensselaer and did more phone work and then went to the members house that lives in a different time zone and we actually made it on time. It was a blessing! We had a good lesson with them and chatted a lot after. We then zooomed🏃‍♀️💨 to the sisters house for dinner and they made Chicken and Cashews which made me so happy because 1 it was my mas recipe and 2nd it reminded me of home and I loved it! It was their first time ever making it and they did a pretty good job at it but my ma’s is still the best! We played Skipbo and then we zoomed back to Crown Point for a lesson at A MEMBERS HOUSE, blessed is what I gotta say about that lol. Today was going to be such a hype p-day to talk about because we were planning on going to the city as a district but the night before our elders decided they didn't want to. We were like gosh dang it. We had already planned everything we wanted to do there. But oh well we didn't let that ruin our day. We decided to make it a chill day and we went to Portillos and to a Filipino store which was fun. After p-day ended we had some good lessons. The first one was we were planning on just dropping off a kids bible to a family but we of course started talking and oh my goodness she had the cutest kid. One thing the mission is really good at is making you have baby fever ahah🤣🤦‍♀️.We then had a lesson with our friend Brett and he gives everyone a nerd name because we are the nerds and so my nerd name is “Sassy Nerd” I was like oop. Tuesday: Very weird but good day. We had Sister Barnes and when we went to Dairy Queen we had actually really good conversations and one of them was us talking about the 12 tribes of Israel which is so fascinating. The rest of the day all of our lessons fell through and so it was just lots of phone work again😄😐. Wednesday: 🎉6 MONTH MARK!!🎉. First off, HOLY MOLY! Where did the time go, I can't believe I've made it this far. Not going to lie I thought I would have been home by now BUT I'm so happy I'm not, you learn sooo much while being out on the mission and its actually so fun and cool but it's also hard. Anyways, today was fun! We had District Council which was good and all and afterwards we went to Steak’n Shake with the district and at this restaurant they had a claw machine where you could win nike shoes and so ofc the elders had to do it and it was soo funny we were all having a blast with it (If you want to see what happens check out the google photos). Fast forward to our lesson with Danielle/Daniel and President Chase, it was so blessed and such a good lesson, we just talked about her/his conversion and also talked about moving his baptism forward. It was so good! We had a lot going on today down in Rensselaer but ofc it all fell through because an ❄️🧊Ice Storm🥶 came. Because of that we stayed in and did more phone work and lessons over the phone instead. Final part of today was Sister Surio learned that one of the things I hate is people smacking in my ear and once she figured that out she started constantly doing it, I was like bruh really🤦‍♀️. Thursday: Very Meh day today/all week. Anyways we had weekly planning which was good and went by fast but unfortunately that was the only thing that went fast. The rest of the day was very much just meh, all of our lessons fell through and we have called quiet literally everyone that's in our preach my gospel app and our area is just slow right now with the work. We both just had no energy that day because nothing was happening. I've decided I really just need a friend/family vacation for a couple days and then send me back out to the field haha. Friday:Today was a little better. We had companion study and then after that we went to a part member family home for lunch which was really good, they had good cheese🧀 haha. We were then in a rush home and he was like waiiit you have to take food with you so he sent us home with a whole carton of ice cream lol, brand new hot sauce, sandwich stuff, six pack of pepsi and pie. We were laughing soo hard. We had lessons here and there but unfortunately Sister Surio wasn't feeling well so we did some lessons at home. But we then had another lesson with Danielle/Daniel and we changed his baptism date to March 1st AHHHHHH! Saturday: Today was something lol.We had service down in Rensselaer which is like a 45 min drive and so we did that and jammed out to music and then we turned back around and came back to Hebron. The rest of the day all of our lessons fell through and Sis. Surio was still not feeling well so we were told to go to the Urgent Care and when we got there man was it sketchy but it was the only one open soo we got her checked out and they said she just had the flu which we were a little confused about but oh well we then met up with the Elders after that to get a blessing and that was pretty much the day for you lol. Sunday: Super bowl day + Transfer news?!!! Don't worry I didn't watch it even though I really wanted to. But anyways church was good like usual, we were in Rensselaer again and we had good speakers. After church we went to Walmart to talk to people and that was a vibe, found a lego that im like im going to get this one day ahah. We then went and had dinner with the Sr. Sisters and during this whole day we are just waiting to get a call or a text letting us know what the transfer news is. For dinner though we had pork tenderloins which was sooooooooo freaking good! To finish off the night we had some good lessons and drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 EAGLES WON!!!!!! Second thing is that Sunday is over and we still haven't gotten any news on what's happening with us if we are both staying or if one of us are leaving. Who knows, guess we will see! Interesting week 😃🤔

First off I just want to say how grateful I am for each and every one of you! If you are on this email list it obviously means that I have so much love for you💞! Second I also want to say how blessed I am to have this opportunity to be serving the Lord at this time!

We went shopping for most of the day because we both kinda hate our clothes so we were like lets just go shopping with all the money we have haha(NONE) anyways we went to lots of places but didn't find a whole lot. The rest of the day we just chilled and talked to fam. Once p-day was over we had exchanges and I got to go with Sister Law and she is so cute and amazing I love the two sisters that are in the zone. We always have a party! We stayed up pretty late and we just had a deep convo which was much needed and was just nice to have! Tuesday: Super fun day! We went to Sister Barnes house ofc for Dairy Queen but right before we left she gave me something and what she gave me was….. 🥁🥁🥁 I got the Veggie Tales Nativity scene!!!! I was so happy when I opened it! Sister Law had Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat sound track and so we jammed out to that while doing stop bys it was fun! Finally to end off the night before exchanging back we met with our friend Brett who is the twin of pretty much my brother Lincoln ahha it was really funny and everytime we meet with him im always like what the heck ahah. Wednesday: We had a super good district council today and Elder Arnett gave a good training on obedience which I really needed to hear because I have not done so good with that but anyways the thing that stood out to me was his analogy he used “ This person is sitting on the fence on one side is God and Jesus Christ and on the other side is Satan. The man was asked what side will you choose. The man said I choose both.. All of a sudden it goes dark and the man is confused until Satan appears and says Hey thanks for choosing me! The man is confused because he didn't choose Satan but he chose both.” What I got from it was like yeah its nice to sit on the fence and have both but in reality you don't have both you honestly chose to be with satan and that as long as we have one foot out and one foot in we are never going to be giving it are all to God. Anyways I just really liked that. We then had a district lunch and we ate so well that day haha. We went to this super good diner place and it had literally everything you could think of, it was good. The rest of the day we had lessons here and there which were good but mainly phone work. Thursday: Today was really good. We had a district fast for one of our friends who is going through a lot right now and so Sister Surio and I invited our district to join us with this fast. I thought it was going to be hard because I've never been the best at that but going into it with a prayer and a purpose helped a lot and that it was for our friend. God really did give me the support and the energy I needed for that day. Today was the day though our trend of lessons started to fall through, it was really sad and unfortunate but we made the best of it and kept working hard! We then broke our fast and got the free frostys at Wendy's and the lady was so stinking sweat she was like as long as I'm working you will get a large frosty instead of a jr ahah it was like oh shoot okay aha! We had a really good talk with her and that was fun. We then just did phone work the rest of the night lol shocker I know. Friday: Super busy but super good day! Today we had an in person leadership meeting and so we had to get up pretty early but man did I have energy that day! At this meeting I felt very called out by the spirit in a way because I know I haven't been the best missionary lately and the things we talked about I was just like shoot welp. But I'm truly grateful for the meeting we did have because it definitely helped me for the rest of the week to try and be better. Some highlights from this was I got to see Sister Hoggard which is always a party! Second, when we had to talk about our zones I was the only one that talked loud and clear and one of the Presidents in our mission made a comment about it and really liked how I did it. I was like lets goooo!! Anyways he talked to me after about it and I told him that's my family for you, we are just loud people in general ahah. We then had a member meal with one of our new recent converts and it was super good and we had a good talk. To finish the night off we did more phone work and at mcdonalds and as we were leaving a bunch of 13 year old boys started cat calling us, it was sooo WEIRD AND AWKWARD. Saturday: Today was a weird day, all of our lessons fell through once again # day 3 of this happening. But the lessons we did have were blessed! First off we went to Grandma Bev's house and im her new tech person pretty much but I helped her fix her facebook and she was sooo happy when I got it fixed that she started jumping and she's like 87 it was crazy. Anyways to the blessed lessons we did have, the first one we were teaching her about the restoration and the whole time she was like this is what I needed and this is where I belong is with this church. We were talking about the Book of Mormon and we were like we would love to bring you a copy and she goes oh no need for that I just downloaded it on to my phone and once we get done here ill start reading it. We were like WHATTTT!! So that was a super cool and an amazing lesson! The second one we had right after with our friend Marcel and we had a member join in and they both love history so much and so they were just talking about the history of the church and we then also talked about how this church isn't just a religion but its a family and Marcel was like really like I can be part of this family and we were like YEAH!! And the smile that he had on his face was so precious. He then said the closing prayer for us and was like thank you for my new best friend and thank you for my new family that I can't wait to join! It was so cute! On the way back we had a call with another person and he was on something because he was like if you say anything wrong I'm going to sew your church!!!! And man did the spirit leave so fast, we were able to hang up thankfully. But other than that it was a good day! Sunday: Day # 4 of our lessons falling through but we had a good day at church today! I love Fast Sunday and when you go into your fast with a prayer it's SOOO MUCH DIFFERENT! But anyways we joined in with the youth today and that was fun because they were talking about missions and trusting God and so it worked out perfectly and so there was a few youth that have been thinking about a mission and were on the fence about it and so I shared my story and the adults were appreciative of it because it helped them see a different perspective in a way. Anywho fast forward to lots of phone work and past that that ahah we had a lesson with Christina and Charles and we also had dinner with them at the Sr. Sisters house which was actually so fun and we had really good food! Today was super chill and we just did facebook the rest of the night.
