Its already Pday again!

Alright where to start lol Monday: SUCHHH A GOOD P-DAY!! We went and got all you can eat sushi with our district and it was actually fire! There were 6 of us and for each of us to eat it was like 20 dollars and let's just day we ate a little over 400 dollars worth of sushi that day lol oops. But it was super good! Tuesday: We had appointment inspections and figured out we have mold in our apartment which is fun but they aren't doing anything about it so oh well, but they might be looking for a new place for us to live maybe, but not totally sure. We then went and did lots of phone work and visited a member who owns two Japanese restaurants here in Illinois and so she gave us food from that and it was soooooo good! Wednesday: Had zone conference which is where all the districts in your area come together and we learn some new things but it was super fun! It lasted almost all day it went from 9-4. We then had a lesson with our Friend Nolan who is supposed to be getting baptized on Saturday but we caught him breaking the word of wisdom so we had to cancel his baptism which kinda sucked and he was sad. Thursday: SUPER COOL DAY! We have this member her name is Pat and we always have lunch with her on Thursdays and today she was showing us this scrapbook she's been making of all of her friends or people she new obituaries. And so when we were looking through it I flipped the page and BOOM it was my grandpa. I was like woah I was not expecting that I was like how do you know Ardean Watts? And she said oh that was my teacher and I was like noooo way that's my grandpa and it was overall crazy and she shared some stories with me which was cool! And then the rest of Thursday was just chill and not to much happened until we did exchanges with the sisters that night Friday: Exchanges! I had the opportunity to be on exchanges with Sister Lundell and she is soo cool! We had such a successful day and also invited one of our friends to get baptized and they said YESSS!!! So that was really cool. Overall a good exchange. Saturday: Very weird day because we thought we were going to have a baptism so we didn't really have anything planned so it was very much go with the flow day, which then ended up with us getting locked out of our apartment which was really unfortunate and we almost had to pay 175 dollars to get back in but they told us a secret to get in so we good lol! Sunday: We had a members daughter get baptized which was sooo cool to see and was overall such a good sunday! And we had crepes which was fire!!! And that was the week for you! You Definitely just have to read each day tbh. Monday: Supper fun p-day! We went to H-Market which is just a big Asian store and we got lots of fun food to try! After that I took my bike that I had bought the other week and I took it into a bike shop to get something fixed and the whole bike was all around not in good condition which sucks so I'm back on the hunt for a bike lol. Tuesday: We started doing zone workouts over zoom which is sooo awkward but it's really fun to watch everyone else ahha. We learned how to box which was funny. We have a friend named Aeneas and I totally said his name as something way different in the prayer and it was SOOO AWKWARD lol. And then we also had a member lunch which was good besides the mashed potatoes because those are overall no Bueno👎. Wednesday: District council which was good its nice to be with other missionaries! Then we had another member lunch but this one was fireeeee, we had shrimp tacos! We then went to the beach to do lots of phone work and a small photo shoot which was fun! Also today we got yelled at by a "cop" and he was yelling at us about how this was harassment calling him lol. So that was really interesting. Thursday: Pretty chill day. We had lunch with a member again and her name is Patt and she's fun and has cool stories. We then had lots and lots of in person lessons so it was a go,go,go all day. 2 of our friends sent us some very interesting text about how they liked the way we looked and so that was very uncomfortable lol. Anyways besides that it was interesting especially with sister Hoggard forgetting to turn our car off during an hour lesson lol. Friday: FOOD POISONING! To start us off we had new missionarie training in person which was so fun to see everyone again! Then they fed us, we had nachos with beef and chicken which was good but weird and then we had an okay rest of the day. But then Friday night after we went to bed that's when it hit us both and we were in and out of that bathroom sooo much and we heard from other missionaries that were there that they also got sick sooo that was cool and made Saturday interesting. Saturday: Sister Hoggard and I were both super tired and had super sensitive stomachs all day but it ended up being such a good day besides that. We ended the day with lots of good numbers and lots of new friends! Soo it was definitely a blessing. Sunday: Church was way good! It's kinda fun to cover two wards because time goes by faster and it's just fun to talk to everyone. We had a member dinner with the Tanners and they are so cool and they made us French dip which was delightful might I say ahah. But something that was funny was as we were getting ready to leave we asked if we could say a prayer with them and they said ofc! And so me not thinking I closed my eyes bowed head and folded my arms thinking someone was going to say the prayer but then I realized that no one was talking so I opened my eyes and everyone was looking at me and it was sooo awkward and they were like Sister Robins can you say the prayer lol. Pretty much I got bamboozled ahah. And that was this past week super busy and super fun!!!

What a Week

Alright this week was a very interesting one lol. Also don't forget to join the photo album! https://photos.app.goo.gl/H3aZcW7jFUy8kZWYA Monday: Monday was labor day so my mission president moved our p-day to Tuesday so I'll tell you how Monday went. We had exchanges which is when one companion switches with another set of sisters or elders depending on the gender and so I was with Sister Hoyt and holy moly she's a lot. She is very crazy and she prays for the wildest things but most of all prays for sparkles 🤦‍♀️. Anyways the one good things that happened that day was we got fire ice cream from this place called rainbow cone it was really good and then then second highlight was I was riding the other sisters bike and the chain broke on me which was really funny and finally the best highlight was going back with my Trainor. Tuesday: Nothing happened for my first p-day in the field because my Trainor was sick so we just sat in the apt all day. Wednesday: Was a crazy day we had district council in the city which was fun. When we got there their were a lot of fireman in the church building because i guess a maintenance guy got stuck in the elevator lol. But other than that council was good. We spent all day I swear calling one of our friends Nolan because he was supposed to get baptized on Sep 7th but we had to push it back because he wasn't ready. But we know have him scheduled for the 21st so hopefully it goes through! Thursday: BEST DAY EVER!! Thursday was so fun because we had a lot of energy. We had lunch with a member and she told us this story about how her and her old ladies friends got a limousine and drove across the country with it, it was really funny. We had just over all a good day! And to finish off the night we had smores to celebrate my 1 Month!! So we had smores and watched legacy a church movie lol Friday: Very slow day. We did A LOT of phone work which I don't like because it's just soo meh. Saturday: Very cool day. We did some gardening/service for a non member that's not interested but we still go and help. After that we went and got lunch at a really good pizza place! And we did some phone work there. After that we went and saw the Home Alone house which was really fun! And then we went to our friend Crystal's house and she's a member but she always wants us over so why not. But it was really funny because she talks a lot but today she talked about marriage tips and dating tips and the funniest thing was she kept say

ing that im built like a black girl because I have a good butt🤣. I'm like hey ill take it lol it was really funny. And then we had some more lessons but over all a very good day. Sunday: Well I've officially had my first talk in church! But because my area is so big we cover two wards which was nice because I only had to talk in the second ward which was at 11:30 and not 9 ahah. But nothing happened in the first ward. But in the second ward we had 3 new friends show up which was so cool! 2 of them we were expecting but the other one totally threw us off. And my talk went well and then we had a member dinner wich was good! But after that we got our car locked in a garage so we had to walk home which was an hour away and it was very dark but we made it and didn't die somehow lol. Hope everyone is having such a fun week! We have officially made it to CHICAGO!!! This weeks p-day is
 tuesday because of the holiday so hopefully everyone had a good time and did something cool! 

Monday: Last p-day in mtc which thank goodness lol I was ready to get out and get going. I did lots of packing but also chilled because I was getting sick, so big thumbs down for that ahah. It was super fun tho because one of my best friends Hermana Cecil actually became my companion for a couple hours which was fire! Then we had our last class with Sister carlson which was sad but we had fun! I deffintly miss my district and teachers.

Tuesday: Very very crazy day. Woke up at 3am and got ready to head out to the airport! Super exciting to get going finally. It was fun to sit by Sistet Moon and Elder Arnett they are both goofy people lol. We landed and I could already feel the humidity and it was bad. After that we met up with everyone and went to the temple for pictures and then headed out to the city where we were asked to handout book of Mormons and to teach people. This was a very fun and crazy day! To finish the night we went to the presidents house and had super good deep-dish pizza and then we stayed at hotel which was soo nice because the mtc beds were not it ahah.

Wednesday: Super fun day! We go our trainors today and my Trainor Sister Hoggard is actually the best! We have so much in common! We got to know eachother more and has chick fil a for lunch and then we left and started to meet the friends in our area. We had a couple lessons which was soo cool and it's so nice to be teaching actual people not actors lol. But my area is super pretty we are covering two wards so our area is pretty big. But in my area we have the temple! And we have North Western University which is so sick. #Northshore #Evanston 

Thursday: Had a pretty typical missionary day got up at way to early and got ready,worked out,ate,personal study, and so on so forth and then about 10 is when we leave our apartment and usually go to a park or food place to do planning and what not. After that we has a member meal which was so good! We did lots of phone work but the funniest thing that happened was I was texting out a message and it was talking to our friend Sam and trying to get him to come to church and what not and I guess I sent it to Sister missionarys in another area lol oops, it really funny tho.

Friday: Nothing to much happened just lots of online contacting and street contacting which was funny because I went up to these people who were walking and was like is there anything we can pray for you guys about? And they said yeah for safe travels. I was like ohh where are you guys going to? And they said to buy weed and I was like ohhh funnnnn ahah. It was a very interesting day ngl.

Saturday: Pretty chill day today. We did phone work at Sam's Club which was funny because it reminded me of my brother's wedding. Sister Hoggard and I shared lots of our funny dating stories during lunch which was funny. We then went to Corner Bakery for dinner because we wanted to have a good meal going into fast sunday. After that we did more contacting and I had the realization that I haven't seen the moon once being here which is soo weird so that our goal is to find the moon. 

Sunday: Super cool day because we had double church which was fun and it was also nice to meet a lot of people ahah. We had dinner with a member which was really interesting because they tried to set me up with there son and that was really awkward lol. But the family is from Eukraine which is so cool! And then Sunday night we had exchanges which was something lol.

Monday: Crazy day. First off I had a new companion for the day Sister Hoyt and oh boy she is a lot. She likes praying for sparkles and anything she sees while praying which was very interesting lol. I was on a bike but then the chain broke on me so I had to walk the bike everywhere which was unfortunate but we did get ice cream which was sooo good! And then at the end of the day we switched back to our Trainors which I was sooo thankful for tbh. And yeah that was the last week pretty much!

Super long this week but sooo much has happened and its so far so good! Lots of mosquitoes here so I'm constantly eaching lol. But hope everyone had a fun week and I would love to hear back from anyone! Love you all!
