What a week !

Such a food week! So much has been happening, but it's all been sooo fun! I'm definitely starting to love being a missionary even more! Also make sure to watch this general conference talk its super good and has helped me a lot! Worthiness Is Not Flawlessness https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/2021/10/35wilcox?lang=eng Monday: P-day! Didn't really do anything today. We were going to hangout with our district but they were lame and canceled on us last minute👎. So we just hung out at the apt and chilled which was nice. Tuesday: Rainy day! We had such a big rain storm which was soo much fun! Every time it rains it always makes me think of my amazing mom that I'm truly blessed to have❤️! Because it was really cold we got hot chocolate and played some chess at the library for some of our comp study ahaha. We then went to yw and made fun bracelets with them which was super fun!! Wednesday: I finally got a good working bike!! We also had district council which was alright lol the Elders in my district are sooo awkward and so its hard to talk to them. Today we went to jamming Wendy's and we call it that because they have really good music but while we were there I got a free frosty to celebrate my grandma's birthday🎂! Thursday: Sister Hoggard and I were packing up our apt and we were finding lots of things from past missionaries, so that was something fs. Not a lot happened today. We did get cake shakes which are soo good and one of our friends called us and was like "I'm at your church and DANNNNG it's HUGEEE!" She kept repeating that and it was so cute! Friday: Crazy busy fun and exciting day ahah! We had 11 lessons and they all went through and lots of them were close together and close to where we live so we got to ride our bikes around most of the day. We had lunch with the Daugherty family and they are the best and have such cute kids!! We then had a lesson with our friend Nate and I had such a strong tingly feeling aka holy ghost and I was prompted to change the lesson and invite him to be baptized and he said 🥁🥁 YESSS!! He's super excited for it! Overall such a good day! Saturday: Another amazing day! We did service at Maggie's again and we were helping her move lots of things to her basement and in her basement she has these spiders called cricket spiders and they are DISGUSTING!!! But that's not even the worst part. These spiders were the size of tarantulas 🤢🤮. If you know me, I HATEEE spiders and then to have them that size and jumping, absolutely not. Anyways after all that she gave us such pretty flowers and one thing I'm learning rn is that I love flowers! I'm like dang really should emphasized that more while dating ahha.We had then our trunk and treat party which was soo fun! And then the funniest thing was Sister Hoggard saying Florida and Nevada are the same place ahha🤣🤦‍♀️. Oh and also we set up another Baptism with one of our friends! Sunday:FOOD DAY!! To start off, we had really good sacrament meetings and some of our friends came which was awesome! In the second ward we got to teach the Sunbeam class which was really interesting ngl. But before that we were in singing time and they were practicing for the primary program and one of the songs was "We'll bring the world his truth." And I lovvvve this song and when they were singing it they were singing so powerful and it started making me tear up! It was truly amazing. After church we had lunch with the Herrera family aka 2nd wards bishops family and then we stayed there for way to long lol oops and so we had to zoom over to the Cranes family's house aka 1st wards bishops house and we had dinner with them haha. Sister Hoggard and I were soooo full lol. And that was really the day lol.

LONG WEEK!

This week was something. One thing I did learn this week is how clumsy I am haha. I tend to run into walls or fall over something or hit my head lol I'm honestly so surprised that I've never broken a bone yet haah. Monday: We did everything we needed to do by 10am and so we decided to go to Gino's with our Elders, that was super fun! We got lots of deep dish pizza which was fire! After p-day ended and we did our lessons we were getting ready for bed and I had totally forgot to tie my hair back and so I walked over to Sister Hoggard and asked if she could tie it back and while doing this I had my eyes closed because of the soap and as I'm walking back to the bathroom I ran into the wall sooo hard ahah and it was really funny because the soap left a mark on the wall of my face lol it was hilarious! Tuesday: Last district council with my first district

. It was crazy that we are already done with transfer 1 like WHATTT! After council we had ice cream that one of the Elders had made and it was actually pretty good. And then nothing really happened after that kinda just a slow day. Wednesday:LONNNNNG day. We ended up having to wake up at 5:30 am because we had to give our car to the sisters for transfers and that was a pain because we showed up on time and they didn't come out until like 30 min after we got there so Sister Hoggard and I were loosing our patients. Once the sisters took our car we stayed at the Clark St. Building all day until they came back so we were there from 8-3:30 just doing phone work💀. Once they got back we did our lessons for the day and that was really it. I gotta say phone work is the worsttt. Thursday: Nothing really happened just more phone work. We were supposed to have a crazy busy day but all of our lessons fell through which was unfortunate. I invited one of our friends to be Baptized, so that was way cool! Pray that she will be able to for Nov 3!! Oh and I also hit my head on this metal swing during weekly planning and I'm honestly realizing how clumsy I am ahha. Friday: We had suprise interviews with our president today. Thursday night they had texted us our times and so that was crazy. We didn't have really much to talk about because we had just had interviews with him but it was still good. Later that day I got the text saying I'm good to drive now so I'm Supper happy about that! I can't believe it's been more then 2 months since I've driven like oof. Saturday: Super fun and busy day! We had 9 lessons and they all went through! Plus a two hour service in the morning. I really enjoyed today because I like doing lessons and or just talking to people rather than doing phone work and hoping they answer. Sunday: Nothing happened we had church like always and met with three members after church but other than that it went by haha. That's the week for you all! Conference Week!

Such a goooood week! So much happened this week! I'm super super grateful to be serving the Lord right now! As my brother would put it lonnnnnnng email this week nerd. So apologies for that ahah. After buying groceries we came back to our car and we opened up the trunk and what do we see? A TONNN of spider webs and me hating spiders I was like absolutely not haha. I went to put the groceries in the middle seata and as I put one bag down I turn around and there's a hugggge spider web with a spider inside and on the window I was like noooooooo ahha. Later that day we want looking for a deck of cards and I found a really cool set so yeah! That was really it nothing to much happened. Tuesday: Weird day! We had a lot of lessons fall through which was unfortunate and so we did lots of phone work and also heart attacked one of our friends door because she's been having a hard time. Please keep Fiona and her family in your prayers! We got our bathroom redone which is sooo nice because there was tonnnnns of mold which was disgusting. My favorite part of today was seeing a license plate saying "BAMUT". Wednesday: Had a member lunch where we pretty much got interrogated which was really something haha. But nothing really happened today, very slowwwwww da.

Thursday: Supper busy day today! We had lessons back to back with was really fun! We had our normal Thursday lunch with one of our not so active members Pat! She invited her friend to be with us which was really fun and Pat had told me more stories about my grandpa which was so cool! So one day I'm going to voice record her telling these stories and she said she would love to! After that we were on a go go go which was fun but also crazy. We had another spider incident in our carwhich is literally crazy. We got the van from elders and obviously they did not take care of it and we haven't had time to clean it👎. Friday: Another Supper busy day. It was just like Thursday. We had lunch with some members and the Dougherty family are literally one of my favorite family's here they are so amazing! Saturday:Conference day Pt.1! Also hit my 2 month mark of being a missionary!!! We went over to Pat's house for the first session and she had made us really good breakfast! Conference was literally amazing! We then watched the 2nd part with the Chappells who has lots of kids so it was hard to focus but still good! And then for the last session Sister Hoggard and I decided to watch it at our apt and make a fun dinner! I made this really good pasta dish and we watched the last bit of Conference. Saturdays session was FIRE!! Sunday:Conference day Pt.2! AMAZING DAY! We went to the Belens to watch it and they also fed really well and they are a really cool family! We stayed there for way to long after Conference and so by the time we left we were running to get to the next house to watch the last session. For the last session we watched with the Kamaes which are literally the best they feed us so much and let us do our laundry at their house. After Conference we just did some phone work and also kinda waiting to see if we are getting transferred or not and WE ARENT!!!! We were both sooooooooo happy! And yeah that was the week for you! Also during general conference I kept saying I don't know if this year's talks are just super good or if it's because I'm actually paying attention more ahha!
