GO, GO, GO TIME🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️💨💨

Monday:P-Day!! Today was not too much of something needless to say haha. I spent most of the day packing and the whole time I was like WHERE DID THIS COME FROM 🫨! I love packing but I also hate it. Once I got almost everything ready and finished we met the elders at the church to play games and we ended up playing ticket to ride 🚎 and that took WAYYYY longer then it needed to be but oh well it was fun.That was pretty much p-day for you! Once we got going with the rest of the day we just had some calls here and there and then we stopped at this member's house that we were supposed to visit today and she ended up going to the mall lol the daughter was there and just gave us some food and then that was it there. Last but not least we finished off the night at our favorite Wendys 🍦and I got our friend Lorrie to do a fit check with me!! Tuesday: Last Day in Indiana rip. First off all of today was soo good but also weird because the whole day neither Sister Surio or I really knew what the time was lol oops🤔, we were late to things lets just say that ahah. But anyways we had our last district council meeting which was really good. We ended it with sharing our testimonies and I love hearing peoples testimonies, It's always touching.Once we finished the meeting we all signed each other's things and just chatted, It was fun! We ended up going to Sam's club for lunch since we were all BROKE ahah. When we got our food this man came up to us and in a way started bashing us🤦‍♀️. We all just wanted to eat the warm food in front of us lol. The rest of the day was good but sad. I said goodbye to Sister Barnes😢, we had our last Dairy Queen day and then we said our goodbyes to Grandma Bev😢 and she was really sad. The rest of the day we had some amazing lessons with new friends, overall a good day! Wednesday: TRANSFER DAY + Hello Hyde Park 2A!! Today was for sure something! We got everything loaded in the car and we were on our way! Once we got there, there was hardly anyone there but we did say our hellos to people and then we found our companions!! I'm super excited to serve with Sister Thaele!! Once we left transfers I looked at our schedule and WOW we were busy busy and so right when we got in our area it was a go, go , go🏃‍♀️💨 I was like oh okay here we go! But it was actually a lot of fun we did A LOT of oym at this place, Menards , which is the heaven place to find people. We found so many amazing friends and ig we are besties with almost all the workers lol so that's a party! Once we finally got home I walked into our apt and OOF🫢 this place has seen better days lol. It was very cluttered in places and so instead of unpacking I cleaned 🧹ahah but it was so worth it. Also Shoutout to Sister Surio, she made an awesome sticker of me. I was like dannnng when I saw it🫶! Thursday: This morning was the majority of the time just unpacking and putting everything away. We had weekly planning today which was okay. Sister Thaele and I are very different kinds of missionaries and so it will be fun to learn together. The rest of the day was lessons quite literally back to back and it was so fun! I love that this area is busy! We then went to Sam's club to meet one of our friends and we got lunch🍕 there because there is nothing in our apt ahah. And like I said all day was just a ton of lessons so that was really today and im ready to go night nights! Which speaking of that, it is sooo nice to have hardly any calls at night , so much time we have to wind down yayyy!! Friday: 7 Months in the Field AHHHH🎉🎉!!! Kinda crazy that I'll hit my 9 months this transfer like WHAT! Anyways, I had a super good personal study this morning, shoutout to the Book of Mormon, if you haven't read it yet, READ IT! We had tons of calls again today but in the morning we went to Krispy Kreme🍩 to do our comp study and I guess we also are besties with the manager there and so we got a free box of donuts, we were like hey alright ahah! We continued with our calls throughout the day and did some oym at this place called Black Friday Deals and WOW🫨 this place is amazing! What it is, is a store that sells all the returned items from amazon and sells them for a dirty price like each day everything costs a certain amount of money and so on Saturday the whole store was 8 dollars but on Monday everything will be 2 dollars, we were like we will come back ahah. We then had lots of amazing miracles and invited lots of our friends to be baptized and lots of them said yes!!!! We had a lesson with a new convert and he LOVESSS temples and everything and so it was fun talking with him and he bought us chick fil a 🐔which was really nice, #Daniel! Saturday: Saturday already? We had a good zone training on baptism which got us all hyped to talk about it and man it is so nice not to have to do that anymore, too much pressure. Anyways today was going to be such a good day because we had a Baptism🌊!! We had a normal day until we had to get things ready for that and everything was looking good until our friend Akeyia called saying she is still at the dog grooming place and we were like nooo 😬so we pushed her baptism a bit back and then the members were just like lets just do it next week which we were like mmmm no we really want this to happen today because we don't want anything to happen. Welp next thing you know the spanish ward has a big party and so pretty much we had this whole fiasco and had to get the mission president involved and then right when Akeyia was on her way we pretty much got booted from the baptism and now we haven't had contact since… The rest of the day was rough but we got through it and to finish the night I became a hair stylist 💇‍♀️and so I helped do Sis Thaeles hair it was fun because I've never put fake hair into someones hair before but it turned out good!! Sunday: First Sunday in Hyde Park 2nd ward yayyy!!! First off church starts at 11:30 which is way nice and what's fun is we share a ward with so many missionaries I'm like yayyy! Church was fun, one of the members gave a talk on missionaries and at the end she goes I know this isn't reverent but can we get a round of applause for the missionaries and then everyone starts clapping 👏 im like okay okay im loving this haah.The rest of the day was lots of calls, invited more people to be baptized and they said yess so that's amazing! Today was a SUPER chill day. We ended up not doing anything with the elders and so we did some errands and that was alright. The rest of the day was Sister Surio sleeping and I deep cleaned our whole apartment 🧹🧼because it was such a nice day and there was nothing else to do, so I turned on some church related music and went at it. Once p-day ended we had lots of calls and so we went to fancy Mcdonalds and as we are about to walk in we were like wow those two people look like they could almost be elders because how nice they were dressed and to our surprise it was🫨!! Some of our elders did not realize they were in our area but it was funny because what are the chances of that happening. Tuesday: Today went by fast but also super slow. We had sister Barnes in the morning that was good. We helped her with technology things and it was funny because she kept getting so mad at it lo😡l. The rest of the day was🥁🥁🥁🥁CALLS! While we took a break to eat dinner though, we watched some safety zone videos and it was funny because we watched one about CO2 detectors and what not to do and the whole time I was getting called out because I had totally taken out the batteries because it kept beeping and we didn't have any replacement ones and I wanted it to stop but yeah it was funny. The rest of the night we had a Stake meeting and the president of the stake always brings snacks and this time he brought a pack of donuts and then like 5 different types of peeps lol it was hilarious🤣. Wednesday: Such a fun+ funny day! Starting off we had a District council which was way good! We decided after our meeting that we should bike 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️today and so we made some pit stops to get somethings and then we were on our way to bike! It was suchhhh a nice day☀️! We drove down to Rensselaer to bike around there for a bit which was fun. We then came back up to Crown point to finish off the rest of the night. As we were on our last couple stop bys we were leaving this person's house and it was really dark and I didn't see there was a big dip and so when I went off it I slammed down on my seat and I BROKE IT ahhah🤦‍♀️! We were dying laughing because my seat went from straight to a 90 degree angle. It was hilarious! I tried to sit on the back of my tire on the tire rack but that didn't work so we walked home thankfully it wasn't too far but man was it funny! Thursday: Man did this week go bye fast! Today was a crazy day, we had weekly planning which was good and then we had lunch with a part member family the Ruffolos and we testified BOLDLY about the Book of Mormon. It was so fun! After that we had an hour drive to our next destination and so we got some drinks🥤 at our new favorite place Family Express! The weather has been soo nice lately and it's making things just 100% better. After some bathroom stops we finally made it to another part member house hold the Yawn family! We played games🎲🎲 with them and also just chatted it up, we then concluded with talking about the Book of Mormon again! To finish off the night we had two good lessons at Chick-fil-a and what was fun was the cow was out and what was even funnier was Sister Surio played rock,paper,scissors with the cow and she lost hahah, we were dying laughing. We then talked to our friend Brett and Sister Surio was we should have your brother that reminds you of him join in on the next lesson I was like I meannnnnnnn ahah soo Lincoln if you are reading this get ready ahah👀! Friday: Happy Pi day🥧!!! Nothing crazy happened in the morning, just some calls and oym. Towards the middle of the day we met up with the one other companionship of sisters in our zone for lunch! We went to Chillis🌶 so shoutout to my girl Jessica, miss you girl! It was super fun to spend time with the sisters and just talk about everything. For us sisters it's hard because out of about 28 missionaries in our zone 4 of us are sisters so yeah that's not fun but the elders are amazing. After that we did lots of stop bys before going to one of our youth mission call opening!! We are super excited for him and he's going to 🥁🥁🥁 Panama City Mission! Anyways, that was really the day for you! Saturday: Day 1 of being sick🤒, yayy!! Pretty much nothing happened today, I woke up not feeling good at all and so we tried to push through it but all we were able to do before I tapped was phone work at a car shop place because our car needed some fixes and new oil. The rest of the day was me asleep😴😴! Sunday: Sick day pt.2. Church was good, we had a ward conference so there were a lot more people there than usual so that's fun. I then had a call with my president and shockingly I was crying during the whole thing but it was a good talk😭! We had some lessons here and there, helped our friend Daniel with family search and that was fun and the rest of the day was me still dying but doing lots of calls and so forth! We ended off the night with a District call to plan city p-day and it's going to be such a party so stay tuned for that for next week also transfer news next week, WILLD! Monday: P-Day!! To start us off I called my mom in the morning and she flips the camera around and BOOM💥 my dads in town ahah it was really funny because first I wasn't expecting that and I also laughed because my brothers had just gotten back from visiting him and so I was like haha yall just got pranked. Anyways after lots of chitchat we went to the library to try and figure out my photos because I'm only 7 months into the mission and my google photos storage is VERY full 😬so if you have any tips on that let me know! We then went to the Albanese factory again for some gifts and pretty much the worker there and I are besties and then next time we see him we are going to start teaching him, just you wait. After that we did some more shopping at the mall 🛍lol oops and then P-day was over and we had to get back to work and this week we set a high finding goal and we found 2 AMAZING souls by the end of the night, what a good way to start off the week. Tuesday: First off HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINCOLN & THERESA🎂🥳🎉!! Shoutout to my brother and sister for getting older ahah🤣. Today was the start of an all week zone conference which we have never done before but basically it's a missionary meeting to help us and so everyday we will zoom in besides the day we are supposed to meet in person. Today was really fun because we got together as a district and we had our friend Brett come because we were told to invite someone that we could do roleplays with and it went well and we were all just having a good time! Once that was over we got going with our day and of course we went to🍦 Dairy Queen and Sister Barnes got her new teeth!!! And she also figured out who's been stealing her mirrors yayy!! The rest of the day we were driving around like crazy heads and I was doing phone work while driving 🫢🤫 because sister surio is still not feeling well. But yeah basically what I said at the beginning of this email is what I started realizing a lot more especially today is that just our zone leadership unification is pretty trash. Wednesday:🫨 7 months of being a missionary! What a day, we had Zone conference pt.2 today which was super good! After that we did soooooo much driving🚗 which like ive been saying is a nightmare for me lol. But through all this driving we did find 2 amazing souls yayyy!! Had some lessons here and there, oym here and there and finally fast forward to the end of the night, STORY TIME📖! We went to a mcdonalds for the last hour and we started talking to this man because he had A TON of news papers and anyways we got talking and then he started going into to politics and we explained our purpose and what us missionaries do and so we got him to end that conversation so we went back to phone work and then he started talking to us again and this time it was politics and a history lesson we were like nooooo lol. He kept asking us if we knew what was going on in the world and then started relating things to Hitler and other history things and we were like we are so sorry but we better get going because we will turn into pumpkins🎃 if we aren't home at this time and so then we ran out of there haha and thats the story for ya! Thursday: Day 3 of Zone conference. Not going to lie I was very zoned out during this zone conference meeting, oops. After the meeting ended we went and dropped off all my letters📦 and gifts at the post office and I had a super funny conversation with the worker about jewelry and how she keeps buying some but her husband isn't happy about it lol. She told me she has 3 months of different necklace pendants. I was like dannnng. Once we got done there we did weekly planning as usual. The rest of the day was calls and oym and then we had a call with our zone leaders to kinda address the whole unification thing and pretty much it felt like my feelings were just pushed aside and that im the only one thats thinking this so that was great and by then I was just kinda done with the day and the week😑. Friday: In Person Zone Conference! Today was one of the best days this week. We had a good meeting and Sister Surio and I gave a roleplay/skit in front of the whole mission which was scary but we think it turned out well. The highlight of that was we got to use mini microphones🎤 tehe it was so fun, I'm going to buy one, one day lol. After zone conference ended us sisters went to this place called Thorntons, its pretty much Maverik but cheaper and while we are there we were putting flavors and cream in our sodas 🥤and this lady came up to us and was like I have fomo what are y'all doing? We told her how this is a big thing in Utah and how its really good and so she tried it and she LOVED it, it was really funny we ended up teaching her a few things and it was so fun after we all left we all took a picture together and shes like can I be in it and so we took another picture it was funny📸! We then drove an hour and a half back home and did lessons here and there. Finally at the end of the night, cherry on top situation, we had a lesson with the Temple Square sisters and they gave us and our friend Daniel & Brett a tour of the Conference building and man we learned so much… ⭐️1st thing is that there is one pillar in the whole conference building, ⭐️2 there are 21,000 seats, ⭐️3 there are a little over 7,708 organ pipes, WOW. Saturday: Very very long day + Day 1 of stake conference. We did service this morning which was fun, we mostly ended up playing yahtzee🎲. The rest of the day was slow and I also have just been very mentally drained and burnt out. Fast forward to the end of the night we had two of our friends come to stake conference and after it Daniel, our friend that has to wait a year until he is baptized, got a super powerful priesthood blessing and man was it good! I love priesthood blessings so much they are just so powerful. I sure do miss having my brother around to do them for me because it's just different when he does them I feel like. Anyways we didn't get home until 10 OOPS! When we got home I still needed to make 7 layer bars for dinner tomorrow and when I was about to make them I realized I had evaporated milk and not condensed milk and so the Sr. Sisters sent me a recipe on how to make condensed milk and so that's what I did the next morning. Sunday: Where to start with this lol. We had daylight savings and so we lost an hour and I got up early to make the 7 layer bars😴 and while I was making the condensed milk which took forever I had to also get ready because we had Stake Conference pt.2 anyways I got it all done and they turned out good but I never want to do that whole thing again ahah. At the stake conference they talked a lot about temples💒 which I miss going so much shoutout to Elle aka my temple buddie, miss you! One day I will be back at the temples! The rest of the day was calls, driving and then we had 7’s dinner with the sisters so we had 7 layer dip, 7 layer salad, and some other things… Finally our last call of the night was something. This person kept telling us that she is the Messiah and also Ruth 🤔and so many other things and she just kept telling us these crazy stories and Sister Surio and I were like mhm okay yeah for sure! Good Hard Week

Hope you are all having an amazing time with whatever you are doing! Just remember God loves ❤️ you! Monday: Super fun P-day!! In the morning we were kinda lazy and just kinda hung around and I talked a lot with my family and learned a lot about phone storage because I take a lot of pictures and videos ahah oops 😬. Anyways once we got going with the day we met with our district at the 🧸Albanese gummy factory and that was super fun. Unfortunately they don't do tours there anymore but they do let you have unlimited sampling and man did the elders take advantage of that lol. We all got a little something and then we spent an hour at a guitar🎸 store and that was we were all just trying to attempt to play the guitars but out of all of us maybe 1 or 2 knew how to play well. Once p-day ended we had lots of calls and visited some members. But funny story, this morning I saw that there was a text about a leadership meeting tomorrow that Sister Surio and I TOTALLY forgot about😨 lol and so we were supposed to have exchanges but that didn't happen lol. Tuesday: MLC! (Mission Leadership Council) Today was a lonnnnnnng day. We got out of the house and man was traffic TERRIBLE😞. It took us a lot longer than we expected and we thought we were going to be late but everyone got stuck in traffic also so technically we were late but we were there before lots of others so it all worked out haha. MLC was amazing and I was able to take a lot out of it. They surprised us with two things, first one being instead of a Zone conference just on one day they are having it everyday🎉this upcoming week which is WILD! The second thing was that us leaders are planning the zone conference and it's like OOP😮. That threw us all off so so much but it's super cool we have that opportunity to do that. The rest of the day was driving🚗🥱 which im getting so sick off which sucks because I used to love it but now im like noooooo thanks! Big Miracle though today, our friend Daniel told us that he has officially got all Sundays off which is such a big blessing because his work was giving him such a hard time about it. Wednesday: Today I hit exactly one year away from coming home which is super crazy! We had district council like usual. We thought it would be fun for everyone to bring their own lunches so that we could still eat all together but not have to buy food. But classic elders didn't bring anything and so us sisters just awkwardly stood there and ate and then we all left. The rest of the day was lots of stop bys which meant MORE driving, yayyyyy! Honestly, if I don't have to do this again I would be a very happy person! Story time now… as we were driving around I totally missed our turn and so I had to flip around somewhere and up a head I saw this nice looking place that looked like a wedding venue and so I was like aww how cute and so we flipped around in that driveway and as we are leaving this truck pulls in and im like oop people are showing up for the wedding how fun! But this truck wont move from the exit and Im like uhhh hello and he drives up to us with the window down and so I was like maybe he thinks we are also here for the wedding and he goes “WHAT ARE YOU DOING.” Im like oh sorry I just had missed my turn and needed to flp around. Hes like “WHY” im like because I missed my turn and anyways he kept asking why and I was so lost and then he yells at me and is like “THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY blahblahblah and this is my house yadayadayada” and im like so sorry didnt see any signs and in my head im like not my fault your place looks like a wedding venue haha. Thursday: SISTER BARNES DAY!! + Detective work lol. So we got Dairy Queen🍦 which is always good and then we went with her to pick up her new teeth and she wanted us to come with her because she's scared of the people that work at the dentist because they always give her a hard time and so we were there for moral support haaha. When we got back to her house we started doing detective work🕵‍♀️ because she ordered mirrors through Home Depot but every time they get delivered they are sent to someone else's house under a whole different name which so happens to be the workers name SUS, so we dug into that and helped her think of what she should do lol. The rest of the day was lots of active calling president and him active calling us and update on Daniel, unfortunately we have to postpone his baptism until we hear back from the 1st presidency which is soo cool that our friends name is being talked about throughout them. Anyways now we just have to play the waiting game. Friday: 6 Months in the Field!!!! We had a couple meetings in the morning but after those we did more stop bys and met some really nice people but unfortunately none of them were interested 😕. We did oym(open your mouth) at the mall and man was that hard because the whole mall has a tone of sales going on and so we accidentally bought some things but how we see it, it was retail therapy🛍 so it was needed ahah. We finally got to do our exchanges with our sisters and sister Law and I chatted in the parking lot for like an hour oops until we realized the time and we had to then switch and zoom back to our areas because we had a leadership call. I'm with Sister Anama for the next little bit and she is so fun and cute and our conversations are just the realist haha but anyways Sister Anama and Sister Surio are quite literally twins and it's funny. But anyways we had a call and it was planning the zone training for the next day which us sisters were doing and the Zone leaders came up with an invitation which was something I don't think the zone needed and so I voiced it but they didn't care and so I was like well I can tell for sure this training is not going to be the best because I felt the Spirit like Zippo while talking about what we should do but hey I'll do my best. Saturday: We had the zone training and again there was no spirit in it and It just didn't seem right and sister Anama thought the same but hey it's over with and what can you do about it now. Anyways fast forward through the day we had lots of lessons fall through but we got these silly bags from the dollar tree that say “ Sweet but mostly Sarcastic😁.” We thought they were funny and so we got matching bags. And then President called us and I got super excited because I'm like okay this is going to be good news about Daniel! WELP in fact,it was NOT good news. President tells us “ I just got done talking to the 1st presidency and the new rule with transgender people transitioning back to their birth sex has to wait a WHOLE YEAR until they can be baptized.” When he said that it quite literally felt like a knife stabbed into our hearts💔 and it was so hard to hear. We then had to tell Daniel that and he was DEVASTATED of course like one would be, we helped him see the bright side of it all but of course it is still super hard. He is going to continue to work towards his baptism and come to church and everything which is AMAZING and as we are talking to Sister Anama is just crying because she has never met Daniel before but from all that was going on and the faith that he still has it just touched both of us and so after that is was hard day ngl but we finished the exchange strong and ended the night with a member meal! Sunday: Yayyy for Sunday! We went to church in Rensselaer which was so good especially because it was a fast sunday and so it's always nice to hear all the testimonies! After we all broke our fast and had a pot luck and man was the food delicious like WOW! After chatting for a bit we went back to Hebron area and went to walmart to do oym and it was funny because one of the workers was stalking the clearance shelves and he was like shoot this is a good find and then he started talking to us about it and long story short he hid us one so that we could come and get it another time, it was really funny. The rest of the day was just lots more oym and then we had a member meal with the Barkers and oh man they are hilarious! After dinner they brought out their pet snake and so of course I said yes to holding it. His name was Pablo🐍 and we were both just vibing and it was super fun and I just wanted to take him with me lol. And the rest of the night was jsut same old same old things.
